Perhaps this is obvious ... but a way to get your utilization down without really changing your debt is to ask your current creditors if they can increase your credit limits ....

(Private loans with ok credit) What's laughable is the "proof" they sent me in response to hubby's validation request. Their "proof" of responsibility for one of the debts is a copy of a handwritten accounting ledger that has my former married name scribbled on it. Nowhere on the paper does it even mention the name of the OC! Another one is a copy of a medical acctg ledger with my former married name on it and my ex-hubby's name on the bottom as the insured!!!
